Try fundraising with us for a change of pace!
Got Toast Dog Treats is committed to investing in the communities in which we do business, and Got Toast Dog Treats Fundraising programs helps us give back. Through our all natural dog treats, we offer innovative new ways to raise money for your school while providing students and their parent's time for their lives.
How our Dog Treat Fundraising Program Works
We offer two options which equally have there benefits: First you can buy the treats up front making sure to have the product on hand. This option is great for selling treats at local craft shows and other school run events or just to show people what they are buying at fundraising events.
The second option is to take orders from a flyer we provide which are customized for your school. You then collect all the orders total them up and provide us with a check and the total. We then ship the product to you within 10-14 business day of receiving your check. Once you receive the product you then distribute the treats to everyone that placed an order.
We will deliver the product free of charge to your school.
Either way your school gets 50% off of the sales. we deliver the items right to your school for easy disbursement.
Keys to a successful fundraising program:
To be successfully with this program you must let everyone you know that you are raising funds for your school with this program.
- Give each family member including grand parents, aunts, uncles brochures.
- Have your school post flyers in prominent spots at your school.
- Post on your schools web site.
- Provide fundraiser information for children to take home with them.
- Ask local businesses to help advertise your fundraiser.
- Contact local papers , tv stations and radio stations to see if they can help get your fundraising information out there for free!
Always remember safety comes first. If your child plans to sell this product or any other products in a public area please make sure they are accompli ed by an adult. Remember to stress to your children never enter a home or get into a car with a stranger.
Planning planning and more planning. The more you plan ahead the more successful your fundraiser will be. Some suggestions that have worked in the part are publish the fundraiser in your school newspapers/letters, notices and e-mails you send out, on your web site and take homes for the children. Get your students excited about fundraising and create a buzz.
Offer incentives, prizes something for your students can shoot for. Whether it be gift certificates , a trip or even some of the product that is up to your school but it is always a worth while part of any selling operation.
Smile and be friendly when trying to obtain orders. Make sure to clearly state you are raising funds for your school which helps benefits the students directly. Ask them if they would like to help you achieve your goal for your and your classmates. Some people might state that they do not have a dog which is understandable. You can gently remind them that the Holidays are coming up and any of our dog treats are a perfect gift for a friends dog as well.
Get the word out, sell door to door, at local events, send notices home with kids, ask local stores to sell some treats or contact local tv and radio stations to help promote the sale. A good place to start is right within your own family by asking Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents to bring them to work or ask there friends and neighbors. Remember anywhere people are is a great place to start selling your fundraising treats.
In order to be successful you need to make sure you keep track of all placed orders. This includes gathering the information from the people such as name, address, phone number, e-mail address and what they purchased. By keeping track of all of this next year you will know who might be a potential supporter again and makes filling the orders very easy.
When the orders come in make sure to check the order for contents and condition. Do not wait until pick up time to inspect everything to make sure you received everything.
Above all remember to say thank you for helping out our school!!!
